Digital Nomads

make money online, how to make money online, digital nomads, digital nomad, what is a digital nomad, make money online, make money while traveling, travel while making moneyI'm a digital nomad. I've been a full-time digital nomad for 2 years. It's not glamorous, but it's very liberating and is, by far, the best lifestyle decision I have ever made. And quite frankly, I would never trade its perks nor its small inconveniences for anything! When I look at the freedom I have each and everyday, I would never consider a traditional career. It's simply out of the question for someone like me.

What are digital nomads?

Digital nomads are people like me who make money online, structured around their travels - and never the other way around. All of the income comes from online sources and can be earned whether they live in New York City or on an isolated island in the Caribbean. Living in the depths of the Andes or in the wilderness of Scandinavia does not stop digital nomads from making a living online - and most of us are doing it quite nicely, I might add.

The concept for most digital nomads is simple: Make money online in US dollars or Euros that is similar to the income we used to make while tied to a location-dependent job; spend that money in places where our funds stretch further to live the ultimate lifestyle of freedom and royalty; move to a different place when we feel like it.

Do you want to be a digital nomad too?

The reason most people are unable to achieve a digital nomad's lifestyle is because they are 1.) too scared to seek it out, or 2.) don't want to. In my opinion, those are the only 2 reasons. Becoming one of the increasing number of digital nomads is easier than ever, and I will show you how.

Who are digital nomads?

So what type of people are these so-called digital nomads? The answer may or may not be completely obvious to you. When most people think of a typical nomad or long term traveler, they tend to think of hippies or generally irresponsible people in their 20's who spend their life wandering aimlessly without a goal. Usually they think these people are males, too. And many times they are thought of as being college drop-outs who spent too much time getting happy in Boulder, CO.

This is not generally true of "digital nomads". The trend I see with digital nomads is that a lot of them are middle-aged people of both genders who opted out of the rat race after the realization that it is getting them nowhere fast. Many digital nomads have children and a spouse; it becomes a family adventure. And many more are not turning back on its grave possibilities once they get their online income on track.

Myself included.

These people known as digital nomads seem to be popping up all over the place nowadays. It's no wonder with all of the possibilities the internet holds. For many people, working remotely and making money online is a very realistic option that is also a dream come true.

At least for me, this is a dream come true.

So I ask you this: What is stopping you from becoming a digital nomad? Is it money? Is it fear? I'll help you with both.

See you soon!
